Connect power from your portable generator to a transfer switch easily with this NEMA L5-30 power inlet box. Power inlet boxes are ideal for running power to critical electrical systems, while avoiding harmful exhaust fumes that a generator produces. The box is mounted outside the home / business, and wires directly to a transfer switch / box. When you need emergency power, just connect your generator cord to the inlet box and flip the switch to the transfer unit. Each inlet box features a protective cap that creates a weather-tight seal when not in use.
The power cord features a NEMA TT-30 plug, which is the 30 amp RV standard plug that is also commonly found on generators. The L5-30R female connector has a LED power indicator and screw-threaded locking rings to ensure a secure connection while connected to the power inlet box. Both ends of the power cord are fully molded for maximum weather protection. This product comes with a limited one year warranty.
